Is it just me, or is it hard to believe it's the middle of May, already? Even though I love the wisteria (those of you who know A`Musements, know I can't resist the urge, each year as 'she' blooms, to brag about the incredible blossoms and fragrance!), my heart belongs to the deepest of aubergines, the lushness of golds, and the lure of all things black.
So it is, that this time of year begins my challenge to 'think the good thoughts' about spring and summer, to try to be thrilled with bikini weather (ha! Really?!!) and pretend the good charade, that I like it all. Non!
Instead I will patiently bide my time, the calendar my friend, moving day by day toward my beloved autumn and all of her enchanting plays on light and the absence of it...
Ah, patience... I am not good at waiting. I guess ALL I can do is go on expeditions, gathering things to remind me of what's to come-- a great excuse to indulge.
Maybe I DO like this time of year, after all.
Such beautiful words to accompany such uncommon finds, and staging........only you could provide this vision. I love it......fists clenched held high..........Fall forever, and long reign Halloween!
