I have to apologize for my pictures of the incredible box of goodies I received from my Vintage Indie Spring Swap partner. I think in my excitement to capture it all, I went too quickly and as you can see, didn't get a good shot of this. What you can't see here is the great detail that my Secret Pal went to. She had each package wrapped in two types of coordinating paper that was beautiful! Then, each package was tied with it's own coordinating ribbon. It was almost too pretty to open, but of course I did.....
Again, what rough pictures I have to show, and I am so sorry! Here you can at least see that my friend went to a lot of effort to include just the right items. She gifted me with several wonderful pieces of tatting and lacey wonderment! There was a delightful clock face (ooooh! I LOVE old clock faces....how would she have known that?!) and beautiful bottles; one clear with a cork and the gorgeous cobalt blue that you see hiding just the other side of--YES! A picture of WISTERIA!!! My daughter would tell you that when I took the picture out of the glassine envelope that it was in, I began to cry! To think someone would go to such efforts to find that picture really touched me. Now, my Secret Friend....did you imagine this little gesture of kindness could mean so much to me?
And finally a picture that is at least somewhat lighter, still not a decent quality to reflect all the time and consideration my Secret Pal put into selecting things for our swap. Can you see the darling little pair of domed florals in the picture above? There was beautiful silk ribbon wound around the blue card that you see in this picture. And wonderful images of a "Bridge in Harlem" and pen and ink imagery of pines. I absolutely LOVE everything, and can't tell you how exciting it was to open each little package... And the picture of the wisteria; what more can I say, except "Thank You! Thank You!" to my Secret Friend!!! (And I hope that YOUR secret pal in the swap treats you as nicely as mine!)
Wow Karen! How lucky are you!?! What a beautiful & thoughtful package of goodies. A very nice score of sweet things. That is a very special secret pal you have there! I think it would drive me nuts not knowing who it was though!
& hey I think the photos have this sweet & soft dreamy looking quality that really suits the vintage items. It works for me :)

Wonderful swap items! Can't wait to see what your going to create with the clock face. I've only participated in 2 swaps....in a silly sweet kind of way...it is touching. When I got my Sweet Little Nest swap I was beside myself. So neat to recieve (and send) another person I don't know a little treasure. And...then the love it on top is even better!
